Andrea Hennings, CMP

Andrea has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality and marketing industry. Raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, she began her career working in sales and marketing for a local radio station which is where she was bitten by the “event” bug. She began by volunteering at local block parties, the Ironman World Triathlon, Queen Lili’uokalani canoe races and many more, during these events she was in charge of numerous details including arranging additional volunteers, getting sponsor dollars to help support these event, asking for in-kind donations, arranging for musical talent, managing staging and on-site live radio broadcast.
Today Andrea is now responsible for managing many client meetings and events from the sourcing of hotels to the final details of closing out the master account. She is an expert at understanding the needs of event planning, performing to the highest of standards and meeting all expectations and budgets. Her ability to understand the “big picture” for the client, but knowledge in accomplishing all the small details has made her a success. Andrea received her CMP designation in 2012.

With more than 16 years of Hospitality industry experience, Molly’s passion for quality travel and customer service led her to Down to the Details in 2014. Based out of Walnut Creek, California, Molly is originally from the Hawaiian Islands, where hospitality is second nature to its residents. She relies on talent and professional experience to best serve her clients.
Molly has extensive customer service knowledge, having worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as small not-for-profit foundations on projects that varied in size and scope. Her diverse experience working with internal and external clients allows her to understand the demands from the client’s and the hotel’s perspective. She has worked in all levels within the hospitality industry, including Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at a large convention center property. The bulk of her experience in the industry is as a Convention Service Manager acting as a liaison between clients and hotel staff to ensure exceptional servicing of events. Molly received her B.S. in Hotel Administration with an emphasis on Event Planning from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She completed the CMP process in September, 2014 and received her HMCC (Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate) in June, 2015.
